7. Experience providing professional development to staff and/or implementation of the coaching cycle. REPORTS TO: Principal JOB GOAL: To provide professional development, coaching, and support for teachers in literacy, math and/or ELD methodology and effective strategies; to guide and support the Professional Learning Community; assist teachers by modeling literacy and early intervention strategies in the classroom; to provide training and support for teachers in navigating the curriculum and planning reading/language arts, math and/or ELD instruction

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with teachers to help analyze and improve instructional practices (i.e., coaching cycle)
- Provides feedback and professional development for teachers on deconstruction of grade level standards, instructional strategies and classroom practices aligned to research and standards-based instruction
- Conducts modeled demonstration lessons and assists with curriculum to ensure that all students achieve mastery with grade level content standards
- Supports teachers with development of students' critical thinking, problem solving, creative, collaborative and communication skills at high levels to shape resilient learners
- Assists with administration of ongoing formative and District assessments and data analysis
- Attends and provides support during professional learning community meetings to assist teachers in utilizing data to align instruction rigor of grade level standards
- Collaborates with teachers and administration to integrate culturally responsive strategies and methodologies into classroom practice
- Assists teachers in planning appropriate intervention and differentiation strategies for students, including English Language learners, students with disabilities, and all students with diverse needs
- Meets regularly with site administrators, teachers, and district instructional support staff to further communication and strengthen instructional support to school staff
- Supports effective implementation of school site and District initiatives
- Assists in developing classroom management strategies
- Attends specialized training in coaching, reaching/language arts, math and/or ELD
- Models personal and professional values of equity, integrity, caring, collaboration, personal and collective accountability
- Performs other related duties as assigned
