Hospice LPN

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in HospiceAs the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Hospice is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in the patient's home.Primary Responsibilities:Performs skilled nursing services under the supervision of a staff RN dailyAdministers prescribed medications and treatments as permitted by state regulationsAssists the physician and/or staff RN in performing specialized procedures as neededAssists the patient with daily activities and encourages appropriate self-care dailyReports to the patient's physician and other appropriate personnel regarding pertinent changes in the patient's condition as neededPerforms complex wound care if in-service is documented for specific procedure daily or as neededRequired Qualifications:Current and unrestricted LPN licensure in state of practiceCurrent CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hireCurrent driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportationPreferred Qualifications:Hospice experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $25.20 to $37.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
