• Experience: Pediatric hospitalist experience with neonatology skills required

What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient coverage for neonatal and pediatric patients with complex needs
• Manage neonatal airway emergencies and perform procedures such as intubations and UVC placements
• Support NICU care down to 32 weeks gestation, including neonatal resuscitations and management of preemies
• Respond to neonatal emergencies, including pneumothorax management and chest Tube insertions
• Interpret EKGs and perform lumbar punctures when required
• Collaborate with ED and anesthesia teams, primarily providing NICU and neonatal care

What You Need:

• Active California medical license
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics (BC or BE within 35 years of residency)
• Active DEA license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Neonatal airway management and neonatal ICU experience
• Comfort with neonatal procedures such as UVC/ UAC placements and intubation

Preferred:

• Ventilator management
• Neonatal chest tube placement
