Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:00 - 06:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS certification from AHA Must-Have: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and education of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Demonstrates effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Displays clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans. Adheres to the standards of professional nursing services.
