CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and have a passion for patient care in a dynamic environment.Unit InformationThe Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) features:Number of Suites: 16 (3 dedicated to CVOR)Average Number of Cases per Day: 30 (1-2 open heart surgeries/day)Common Cases: Open heart, TAVR, open/endovascular, and thoracic proceduresShift DetailsShift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekTypical Shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PMCall Requirements: One weekday per week and one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on rotation with staffResponse Time for Call: 30 minutesQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in CVORRequired Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS preferredExperience with open heart and/or endovascular proceduresRole ResponsibilitiesThe CVOR Registered Nurse will be responsible for:Administering patient care in the CVOR settingScrubbing only to hold the heart and assist in closing the chestFloating to General OR as needed based on caseloadTeam and EnvironmentThe CVOR team includes:8 OR techs in the CVOR departmentCharge Nurse/House Supervisors: Gloria and BrookeOrientation and TrainingNew hires will undergo a comprehensive one-week orientation, which may include remote modules. It is expected for clinicians to be in the state for the entire duration of orientation.Dress CodeHospital provided scrubs (light blue) must be worn during shifts.LocationThis position will be based in the CVOR unit located in a facility within 60 miles of the designated area.
