OPEN POSITIONS:

• ASSISTANT SWIM TEAM COACH (2)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (ALL POSITIONS):

• Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors)
• Minimum of three years of experience in all levels of competitive swim participation at the scholastic, collegiate or club level.
• Previous swim team coaching experience required.
• Experience with Meet and Team Manager Software is preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Be able to pass the CDYMCA swim test, as administered by the Aquatic Director or designated individual
• Basic computer skills, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
• Basic life support or professional rescuer CPR/AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration (completed within 30 days of hire)
• New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
• LIFEGUARDS: Must have a valid lifeguard certification (within 30 days of hire) and demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards

SCHEDULED SHIFTS:

• Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm (flexibility with days)
