Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Qualifications: Degree:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Certification:Valid Texas teaching certificate with required secondary science or life science/biology endorsements (such as Grades 7-12). Knowledge:Deep understanding of life science curricula, TEKS standards, and lab safety protocols. Major Duties and Responsibilities Instruction:Plan and use effective lesson plans, labs, and instructional materials that match district guidelines and state standards. Management:Create a safe, orderly, and positive environment for student learning in both the classroom and laboratory settings. Assessment:Measure student progress regularly through formal and informal evaluations, projects, and tests. Communication:Confer with parents, students, and admin team members regarding academic and behavioral progress.
