Responsibilities Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient‑centered care. Assists with staff scheduling and manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines. Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment. Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Meets safety policies and rules, uses appropriate safety equipment, and reports unsafe conditions immediately. Adheres to the MHS Code of Conduct and demonstrates ethical behavior as expected by patients, colleagues and the community. Reports activities that appear to violate applicable laws or the Code of Conduct. Completes other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing required. BSN preferred. Minimum of 1 year working as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. 3 years of RN experience in a Telemetry unit highly preferred. Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse required; if Compact RN license, must obtain a TX RN license within 90 days of hire.
