Psychiatrist

iWorld Professionals is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist on behalf of a highly respected behavioral health organization . This is an on-site position in Warsaw, Indiana . Relocation package available!

Psychiatrist Position Summary:
The Psychiatrist will play a key role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of mental health conditions while partnering with therapists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Psychiatrist Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish accurate diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based psychiatric care.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Evaluate, monitor, and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and ongoing care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate behavioral health services and ensure continuity of care.
• Consult with primary care providers and other specialists to support integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Participate in peer reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and medical staff meetings.
• Provide clinical supervision and collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or other Advanced Practice Providers as appropriate.
• Maintain all required medical licenses, DEA registration, board certification, and continuing medical education requirements.

Psychiatrist Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active (or eligible for) state medical license.
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain before employment.
• Experience treating patients with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and medication management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
