SPY-6 Test Project Officer with Security Clearance

Overview SPY-6(V)2/3 (EASR) Test Project Officer Location: Virginia Beach, VA Job Status: Full Time Clearance: Secret Travel: Mandatory Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a SPY-6(V)2/3 (EASR) Test Project Officer to join our team, with the option to work either in our office in Virginia Beach, VA Required Qualifications and Skills Five (5) years of experience with surveillance radars, including AN/SPY-6 family of radars (FoRs) or equivalent experience with AN/SPY-1 radar systems. Three (3) years of experience with AEGIS Combat System and/or SSDS Combat System platforms with defining, planning, and executing critical projects that involve multiple technical disciplines and organizations. Three (3) years of experience with project management in assessing cost, schedule, and performance to result in timely accomplishment of overall assignments. Experience briefing senior leaders on program plans and status. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Desired Qualifications and Skills Prior Project Officer/Testing Officer experience or military experience within the Combat Systems support communities is highly desired. Responsibilities Provide test planning, project management, and test execution in accordance with ISO program testing requirements. Evaluate and analyze test requirements, methodologies, resources, and constraints. Define, plan, and execute critical projects that involve multiple technical disciplines and organizations. Prepare and deliver briefs for senior leaders on program plans and status. Assess and address Combat System equipment and crew readiness to execute the test plan through technical leadership of required T&E installations, readiness assessment, integration and rehearsals. #J-18808-Ljbffr Astrion
