Dental hygienist

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs.

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.

Document treatment plans and maintain accurate records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Review medical histories and educate patients of all ages on optimal oral hygiene practices.

Take and interpret panoramic and bitewing x-rays.

Assist in the management of dental clinic operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care and make referrals for specialized treatments when necessary.

Remain current on dental hygiene advancements and participate in continuing education.

part-time $44 - $46 per hour

Tuesday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

Wednesday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Thursday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

• Eaglesoft
• General Dentistry
• Licensed dental hygienist

Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in Connecticut.

Proficient in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry practices.

Experience with dental software, especially Eaglesoft.

Strong knowledge of dental procedure medical coding.

Excellent documentation review and patient assessment skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while delivering outstanding patient care.

Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
