Job Title: Laser OperatorLawrence Brothers, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and programming laser cutting equipment, ensuring production quality, and maintaining efficient workflow. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and program laser cutting machines using nesting reports and laser softwareRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and routersAccurately read and use a tape measureSet up and perform countersinking operations on partsTroubleshoot cutting head and machine performance issuesPerform basic machine setup and adjustmentsMaintain quality standards and inspect finished partsUtilize computers to manage job files and machine programsFollow all safety and production proceduresRequired Skills & QualificationsAbility to read blueprints and precision measuring toolsProficiency operating mill machine, band saw, and tapping machineBasic mechanical troubleshooting abilityStrong decision-making skills and attention to detailGood computer skills and ability to learn laser software systemsExcellent attendance and reliabilityAbility to work effectively in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsPrior laser cutting experience in a manufacturing settingExperience with CNC or automated fabrication equipmentPress brake experience preferred
