Caregiver / Companion Care Aide (Part-Time & Flexible Shifts)

Location: Stafford, VA 22554 and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers to provide companion care and personal care services to seniors and adults in Stafford and surrounding communities. We have a variety of shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and fill-in opportunities.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Companion Care Services

• Provide companionship, conversation, and social engagement
• Offer emotional support and encouragement
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Accompany clients during activities and daily routines
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and organized home environment

Personal Care Services

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed
• Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers
• Offer medication reminders
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care when required
• Monitor client well-being and report any concerns

Dementia and Memory Care Support

• Provide supervision and safety monitoring
• Use redirection and reassurance techniques
• Encourage routine and engagement in daily activities
• Support clients with patience, dignity, and respect

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, or related experience preferred
• Experience supporting clients with dementia or memory-related conditions is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and client instructions
• Professional and respectful demeanor

Requirements

• Must pass a background screening
• Must provide documentation verifying eligibility to work
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to client needs
