Ackerman & Towson Dentistry is a friendly, patient-focused private practice in Brentwood seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with strong general dentistry experience to join our established team. We are a busy, multi-doctor practice that values quality care, teamwork, and long-term career-minded dental professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RDA who enjoys general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry and is looking for a stable, long-term role—not a stepping stone position. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys supporting doctors chairside, and contributes positively to both the team and the patient experience.

Pay: $28 – $30/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday

• Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Wednesday: 11:00am – 7:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Chairside assisting in general, cosmetic, restorative, and preventative dentistry
• Fabrication and placement of temporary crowns
• Operatory setup and breakdown
• Sterilization and infection control following OSHA and CDC guidelines
• Take and process dental radiographs
• Assist with treatment procedures and patient flow
• Accurate charting, notes, and treatment documentation
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members
• Maintain stocked operatories and clinical areas
• Support a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment
• Other duties as assigned

EXPERIRENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Current California RDA license (required)
• General dentistry experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable assisting with restorative procedures
• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and terminology
• Strong understanding of OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude
• Calm, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced practice
