Job Summary Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist position located in Durham, North Carolina. 13‑week assignment beginning 07/13/2026 with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Job Details Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, night Employment type: Travel Location: Durham, NC Responsibilities Evalue, treat, and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established policies and procedures. Participate in development and/or implementation of patient care plans. Assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted guidelines. Maintain good customer relations and communicate professionally with management, coworkers, staff, patients, and families. Provide instruction to patients and caretakers on therapy methods and objectives. Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly. Qualifications Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC and CPR certification required. Preferred: at least 18 months of respiratory care experience, ideally in a critical care setting.
