Warehouse Shipping And Receiving SpecialistPosition Summary: Ship and receive product to customer satisfactionDuties And Responsibilities:Assure that shipments to customers are accurate and timelyVerify accuracy of counts in incoming material with customer specificationsVisual inspection of product before packaging for shipmentVerifies weigh counting procedures and labeling have been done before shipment.Receive product and maintain records to document receiptShip product per shipping schedule or upon demandAssure all shipping & receiving counts are accurate to maintain inventory accuracyGenerate daily shipping log and invoicesGenerate internal reports as requested by manufacturing and other departmentsMaintain good housekeeping and organization of all inventory and warehouse areasSchedule deliveries to customersSchedule deliveries to and from outside vendors.Schedule company trucksShuttle products between WM plantsEducation And Experience:High School graduate or equivalentDependable work ethic and excellent attendanceKnowledge, Skills And Abilities:Verbal and written communication skillsComputer skills: Visual, Word, ExcelKnowledge of metal fabrication processFork-lift licensed driverCDL licensed driver is a plus for this position.Environmental Management Responsibilities:Conform to all Wayne Metals, LLC environmental policies, programs and procedures.Conform to all State of Indiana laws and regulations.Report any environmental concerns to supervisor, Environmental Management Representative, or the Plant manager.
