High School Science Teacher (One Year Only) - Anticipated 2026-27 School Year Opening Starting Date: Aug 31, 2026 Job Description POSITION: High School Science Teacher (One Year Only) Qualifications NH teacher certification (7-12) in Life Science or proof of eligibility for NH certification Bachelor’s degree or higher Experience preferred but not required JOB GOAL: To provide all students with a quality educational program in which they reach their full potential Performance Responsibilities Plan and prepare instruction based upon District curriculum and student needs Demonstrate knowledge of all content areas and child development Provide instruction in science following district curriculum, setting high and attainable outcomes Design and use assessment data to monitor progress of all students towards established standards, maintaining accurate records Create an environment of respect and rapport that establishes a culture of learning Manage classroom procedures and student behavior Communicate with students and their families Collaborate with other educators within the school and across the District Implement 504 and IEP accommodations and modifications Actively participate within the professional community, growing professionally, reflecting on teaching and demonstrating professionalism Follow District policies and procedures Complete other duties as assigned by the principal TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the Conway Education Association (CEA) contract WORK YEAR: 187 day / school year position EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Conway School Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
