Surgical AssistantOur office, Lehigh Valley Oral Surgery and Implant Center PC - Stroudsburg, is looking for a qualified surgical assistant. This position also supports the Bethlehem office as needed.We are looking for a talented and skilled Surgical Assistant to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. Here is what you need to know about the role, our team and why we could be the right next step in your career.Your ResponsibilitiesYou will ensure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentist's shoulders. You will be focused on ensuring that the patients' needs, concerns, and questions are answered. You will help keep the patient relaxed and comfortable during their visit, being the patients go to resource during their visit which includes the following:Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure.Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs and assisting as required.Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized.Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety.Prepare and provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients.Help maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager.Must travel to the Bethlehem office on an as-needed basisAs one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.Your Schedule7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM- 4:00 PMYour BackgroundYou are a resourceful Surgical Assistant who loves helping patients receive the experience they deserve and helping the Dentist to provide it.
