Help
- Make any replacement necessary where repair is found impractical.
- Drive vehicles as required in diagnosing malfunctions and placing in an operable condition for pre-inspection.
- Utilize hoists, jacks, overhead bridge crane, and assistance of other workers when heavier items are encountered.
- Use technical manuals, illustrations, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and similar guides to make repairs and modifications.
- Perform pre-shop analysis of heavy mobile and engineering equipment to determine maintenance needed on equipment and make repairs.
- Responsible for performing the full scope of maintenance, repair, rebuild and/or modification and initial inspection of new, state-of-the-art, lifesaving armored vehicles.
