Mortgage Sales Team Leader – Retail A summary of the role: The Mortgage Sales Team Leader - Retail manages all aspects of a mortgage branch/product line, including staff and customer issues, products and policies, operations and administration. Responsibilities Personally originate/serve as account executive on mortgage loans. Achieve management objectives for profit, volume, quality, compliance, bank cross‑sells, etc. Coach, counsel, and develop work schedules. Establish and communicate group strategy. Adhere to bank policies and procedures and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Follow, and in some cases establish, effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored, controlled, and compliance requirements are adhered to on an ongoing basis. Keep abreast of risk‑related changes that may impact assigned work functions and processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Location & Work Authorization Job must be onsite at 4983 S Baldwin Rd, Lake Orion, MI. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Minimum 3 or more years of mortgage sales experience. 4 additional years of mortgage sales experience considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications Proven leadership skills and prior managerial experience. Proven ability to meet sales goals and quotas. Proven experience in developing and maintaining positive inter‑departmental relationships. Proven leadership skills including exhibiting Huntington's core values. Strong team‑building skills, local networking and recruitment sources, and experience coaching and developing direct reports. Benefits & Employment Details Exempt status: No overtime pay.
