Overview 100% Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity - Southern Ohio - Great Pay/Loan Repayment up to $200,000. Call Rotation For outpatient practice, evening calls go to an answering service (the doctor has only been called 1–2 times a year in the evening). The physician also assists with covering the inpatient geriatric unit every other weekend via telephone and provides vacation coverage. Patient Volume Approximately 20–30 patients per day. Services Offered Outpatient therapy and help with coverage of the geriatric unit. Compensation Base salary starts at $200,000 with additional compensation for experience. Vacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days). CME/Books & Journals: 5 days and up to $5,000. 3‑Year Contract Includes Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to the IRS limit of $17,000 per year before taxes. No matching. Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to the IRS limit of $17,000 per year before taxes for those under 50 and $22,500 for those 50 or older. The Medical Center matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay (max of $5,500 for under 50 and $11,000 for over 50). Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to a moving company. Malpractice Insurance Coverage: claims-made policy, $1,000,000 per claim / $3,000,000 aggregate. Health Insurance: physician pays a small premium, deducted from paycheck. Liquidated Damages: 70‑mile and 2‑year non‑compete clause.
