OPERATIONS & QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

STARTING PAY RATE: $22 HOURLY - BASED ON EXPERIENCE JOB DUTIES:Quality ControlDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and standardsLead inspection activities and ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirementsInvestigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Maintain documentation related to quality audits, inspections, and reportsMachining OperationsOversee daily machining operations of Manual and CNC Lathes to ensure productivity, efficiency, and precisionCollaborate with production teams to optimize workflows and reduce downtimeEnsure machinery is maintained and operating within safety and performance standardsShipping & ReceivingManage inbound and outbound logistics, including material handling and inventory controlEnsure accurate documentation, labeling, and tracking of shipmentsCoordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to meet delivery timelinesPart Trimming / FinishingSupervise trimming and finishing processes to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specificationsImplement standardized methods to improve consistency and reduce wasteTrain and support staff in best practices for finishing operationsLeadership & Continuous ImprovementSupervise, train, and develop cross-functional team membersPromote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvementIdentify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiencyTrack and report on KPIs such as quality metrics, production output, scrap, and delivery performanceREQUIRMENTS:5+ yrs Manufacturing Operations, including quality control and machining experienceStrong understanding of quality systems (ISO standards preferred)Proven leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and process improvement abilities (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)Strong organizational and communication skillsForklift experience a plusLift/Carry up to 50 lbsWalk, Stand, Stoop, Bend for 8-10 hours/dayMust be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouseWork well in a team environmentFollow company guidelines & proceduresReliable transportationHigh School diploma or equivalentPre-employment drug and background screeningHOURS:Monday – Thursday: 6:45am to 5:30pmFriday: As needed – Must be available to work Friday30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks at 10:00am & 3:00pm40 hrs – Plus potential overtimeADDITIONAL BENEFITS AS AN COLSON GROUP EMPLOYEE AFTER PROBATIONARY PERIOD(Additional probation period may apply to some benefits):Health, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Vacation and HolidaysPerformance bonusesYou should be proficient in:Warehouse Experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
