Community Living and Support / Community Networking
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate professional to provide Community Living and Support and Community Networking services to a male individual with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Ramseur, North Carolina .
Personnel will support the individual in connecting with community activities, socialization opportunities, and experiences that promote meaningful participation in mainstream society. The role will also include assisting the individual in learning new skills and participating in activities that are individualized and aligned with his preferences, interests, and goals.
The intended outcome of these services is to help the individual increase or maintain life skills, maximize self-sufficiency, and increase self-determination , while providing the appropriate level of supervision and support needed to promote independence and successful living with family or other natural supports.
Position Details:
- Location: Ramseur, NC
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 30 hours per week (15hrs CL/S, 15hrs CN)
- Client: Male individual with IDD
- Transportation: Reliable transportation required
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required
- Auto Insurance: Current auto insurance required
- Background Check: Required
The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable, respectful, and committed to helping individuals with disabilities build independence, develop life skills, and actively participate in their community.
