  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and cultivate a sense of empowerment.

  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

  • Provide guidance and crisis intervention in trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and supportive presence for patients.

  • Educate patients and their families about trauma-related responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for further support.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

  • Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clients you will serve include individuals coping with the aftermath of trauma, such as those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
  • \n
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating your capability in providing clinical care.

  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and expertise in trauma-informed therapeutic modalities.
  • \n
  • Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies that facilitate effective recovery and growth.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
  • \n
  • The ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, providing critical support to clients.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to maintain accurate patient records.

  • A collaborative mindset, demonstrating the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
