Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) – PAM Health The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care as directed by a Registered Nurse on the unit. Functions include gathering and reporting patient data, carrying out orders, performing therapeutic procedures in an age and population‑appropriate manner, and performing other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities Deliver nursing care under RN direction. Gather, document, and report patient data. Execute orders and perform therapeutic procedures. Maintain care in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Perform additional duties as requested. Qualifications Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact license. Current BLS certification (AHA approved within 90 days of employment). Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations. One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred but not required. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage: $26.00–$32.00 per hour*.
