Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist for a permanent role with an area healthcare client in Dover, DE. The role requires operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for echocardiogram procedures, and producing diagnostic cardiac images for interpretation by cardiology teams. The position is within a hospital setting and follows evening shift hours with variable scheduling. Applicants must provide age-specific care across the lifespan, including neonatal and pediatric patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of an accredited cardiovascular sonography certificate program or equivalent.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credential required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Successful completion of a recognized cardiac sonography certification program and/or at least two years hands-on echocardiography experience required.
• Experience performing transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, color-flow Doppler, transesophageal, exercise stress, and pharmacological echocardiography.
• Experience with EKG, Holter monitor setup/analysis, and cardiac stress testing.
• Experience using echocardiography machines, cardiac stress systems, electrocardiographs, Holter monitors, and computer analysis software.
• Demonstrated ability to perform neonatal and pediatric echocardiography.
• Experience working in a hospital environment preferred.
• Ability to implement infection control practices and aseptic techniques for equipment disinfection.
• Ability to interact with and precept students from contracted educational programs.
