Security Architect

Role Overview As the Security Architect, you will lead all aspects of software security for Dexterity’s robotics product lines. This hands‑on role involves writing and reviewing code, auditing and writing security policies, and collaborating with auditors, prospects and customers to demonstrate compliance. You will maintain Security Guidelines, Incident Plan, and other policy documents, keeping them up to date with industry best practices, and work closely with software, DevOps, operations, and customer success teams to implement and enforce policies. Additional duties include analyzing requirements, mentoring developers, and communicating best practices through documentation. Key Responsibilities Lead or significantly contribute to achieving ISO27001 and SOC2 compliance at a software company. Maintain and update security guidelines, incident response plans, and related policy documents. Collaborate with auditors, customers, and internal teams to ensure compliance and secure coding practices. Mentor software developers and provide guidance on secure coding principles. Analyze requirements and communicate best practices via documentation. Required Qualifications MS or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Background in information security, software supply‑chain security, and secure coding practices. Proven experience leading or contributing significantly to ISO27001 and SOC2 compliance. Experience working with auditors and customer InfoSec/IT teams, with strong internal and external communication skills. Strong knowledge of modern C++ and Python. Experience with Git and modern CI pipelines. Nice to Have Knowledge of network security. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Previous startup experience. Equity and Compensation The expected base salary range is $200,000 to $300,000 annually.
