About the job – P‑Assistant Director of Rehab Job Title: P‑Assistant Director of Rehab Location: Waldorf, MD Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 Qualifications: PTA or COTA Hours: 40 hours/week Schedule: Monday‑Friday | No weekend rotation Restrictions / Notes: New grads cannot be considered Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated P‑Assistant Director of Rehab to join our team in Waldorf, MD. As the P‑Assistant Director of Rehab, you will work closely with the Director of Rehab to oversee the daily operations of our rehabilitation department. Responsibilities Assist in the management and supervision of the rehab team, including therapists and support staff. Collaborate with the Director of Rehab to develop and implement treatment plans for patients. Conduct patient evaluations and provide hands‑on therapy as needed. Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Assist in the hiring, training, and evaluation of rehab staff. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development. Requirements Must hold a valid PTA or COTA license in the state of Maryland. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SNF setting. Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to rehabilitation services. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
