North Campus Surgery Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Charge Nurse to join our team. As Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations. Operating Room Charge Nurse at North Campus Surgery Center Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate. Position Responsibilities Supervises the OR staff to provide a daily smooth flow of cases. Assists in coordination of daily case scheduling in the O.R. with other staff to ensure schedule will flow smoothly (O.R. & X-Ray). Prepares monthly call schedules. Prepares, coordinates and performs monthly O.R. staff meetings for all OR, radiology, and anesthesia techs. Communicates effectively with physicians to resolve issues and provide efficiency and smooth case flow. Orders instruments and equipment for cases. Coordinates inventory quarterly in all areas of the OR. Assists with OR education by coordinating and/or giving in‑services. Prepares schedules in the afternoon for next day. Qualifications Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing. Baccalaureate degree preferred or work related experience. Three (3) years experience in surgery. Current Missouri RN License. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. CNOR preferred. Independent decision making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
