Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Must be graduate of COARC/AARC/NBRC approved Respiratory Therapy program.

Unit Details: - Assists physicians in the treatment of patients with conditions affecting the cardiopulmonary system and serves as an advanced resource for other staff.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend hours as needed. - Must be able to take call hours as needed.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition) or the alternative certification Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist)
