Veterinary Technician/Assistant (2+ Years of Veterinary Experience Required)

4-Day Work Week | Rotating Saturdays | Collaborative Team | High-Quality Medicine

AMSC is seeking an experienced, compassionate Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. If you're passionate about exceptional patient care, enjoy a varied caseload, and thrive in a collaborative, high-quality medical environment, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule

• Four-day work week

• Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• Rotating Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures

• Collect, prepare, and process laboratory samples

• Prepare patients for surgery, monitor anesthesia, and help ensure patient safety throughout procedures

• Maintain accurate electronic medical records

• Educate and communicate with clients in a compassionate, professional manner

• Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient care

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant in a veterinary hospital

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Comfortable working with a variety of species, including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Dependable, professional, and committed to providing outstanding patient care

• Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential. Reliable, on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts is a condition of employment.
