Seeking an experienced and adaptable professional to support student success within a PreK-8 district on a full-time contract beginning as soon as possible through May 2027. This role centers on delivering high-quality psychological services to a diverse student population near Des Plaines, IL. The exact grade level and caseload will be assigned based on district needs, so flexibility and confidence working across the PreK-8 spectrum are essential.

Requirements:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Experience as a school psychologist within any K-8 or PreK-8 school setting
• Comfortable working with a range of grade levels and caseloads
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Open-minded about possibly working some days in a hybrid format, as the district is open to this arrangement
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to function effectively within a school team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and participate in multidisciplinary evaluations
• Develop, implement, and monitor individual education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and consultation to students, staff, and families
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service personnel
• Support crisis prevention and intervention when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
• Promote an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
