Facilities Technician IIIThe Facilities Technician III is a senior-level technician responsible for performing complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on manufacturing equipment, systems, and infrastructure. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, supports preventive maintenance programs, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.Responsibilities and duties include:Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and remodel repairs on all facilitiesDiagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtimeConduct preventive maintenance and inspections according to established schedulesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsInstall, modify, and upgrade facility systems as neededCollaborate with engineering and production teams to support equipment reliability and process improvementsMaintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental standardsTrain and mentor junior facility staffRespond to emergency breakdowns and support off-shift coverage as requiredAll other duties assigned.Other responsibilities include:To ensure Kelvion's Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational FrameworkRequirements (knowledge, skills & abilities) include:Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systemsProficiency with plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, all other facility systemsFamiliarity with CMMS platforms and maintenance documentationAbility to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment (certification preferred)Education and experience (required levels) include:High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environmentPhysical requirements include:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands, arms, and shoulders. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear.
