Ratios adjusted by acuity. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year Traveler Experience: 1st timers are accepted Locals accepted Y/N: No must be 50 miles Scrubs: any solid color Skills: MS/Tele Telemetry PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Post MI IV insulin protocols Titration of Insulin drips Feeding tube care and management Continuous Bladder Irrigation Renal failure Accessing Ports Blood Product Administration Central line care/management Phlebotomy Peripheral Line Care/Management PICC line management Starting IVs Heparin Protocols Manage Cardiac drips- no titration PCA Thrombolytic Agents Titrate Cardiac drips CVA Seizure disorders Substance Withdrawal Ortho trauma Peripheral nerve block catheters Total Joint Replacements Traction Mastectomy Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac External CPAP/BIPAP High Flow Nasal Cannula HFNC Interpretation of ABGs Nasal Cannula Oxygen face masks Non-invasive airway management Tracheostomy Management Isolation Precautions Wound Care/Wound Vac Certs: ACLS BLS NIHSS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: PALS TCAR JOB DETAILS: Ratios: 1: 3-5 for days and weekends 1:3-6 for nights RTO: 7 days MAX Float Requirement: Yes Weekend Requirement: Every other Float: may be floated to the corresponding sister units. West 2 West 3 and Observation unit are all sister units. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: PCU and MS Tele Surgical pre and post ENT general Surgery Trauma surgery Ortho surgery. Overflow medical diagnosis patients. Rare Pediatric patient Travelers not assigned unless experienced. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: TCAR preferred SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: **Mixed acuity unit PCU MS Tele and MS pts REQUIRED: must have PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years. Ratios adjusted by acuity. UNIT SYSTEMS Medication Documentation Communication: EPIC Pyxis and SBAR UNIT ORIENTATION: 12 hours Shift Info: Night 3x12-Hour 19:00 - 07:00
