Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department with a high-volume environment of approximately 120 visits
• Deliver safe, effective nursing care during night shift hours in an acute care setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Adhere to facility protocols, float expectations, and scheduling commitments as outlined in the contract
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required; hospital-based experience is required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission if applicable
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with high-volume emergency care environments
• Flexibility to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
