Production Operator

Quality Technician
Looking for M-F 10am- 6:30pm and 12pm - 8:30pm, with flexibility to work weekend days once trained. Experience is entry level.
Principal accountabilities:
- Prepares and accurately determines metal content and other properties of matrix materials.
- Applies established instrumentation or analytical methods, to support refining, catalyst and chemical production, development, and/or other JM departments.
- Compares instrument performance and/or assay results with standards, reporting any deviations from specifications to a Senior Level Chemist or Laboratory Supervisor, and independently initiating corrective action as required.
- Prepares and maintains proper analysis documentation, including summarized test data and procedures.
- Uses all laboratory equipment safely, cost effectively and accordingly to job requirements.
- May be responsible for the management of hazardous wastes in the lab.
- Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work area.
- Assist with document tracking and maintaining quality assurance.
- May perform other related assignments as determined by the immediate supervisor.
