Registered Nurse - Emergency Services (ED)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, varying schedules.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Services department will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Services.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Active RN License.

Holiday Expectations

MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) during the assignment.
