Front Desk Agent – Full-Time
Embassy Suites La Jolla | San Diego, CA

Pay: $21.00–$22.00 per hour (non-exempt)
Schedule: Full-time, including weekends and holidays

About the Role

Our Front Desk Agents are the first people our guests meet and the last people they see before heading home. We’re looking for a warm, upbeat, service-minded professional who knows that a great stay starts with a genuine welcome. If you love connecting with people, stay calm when things get busy, and take pride in making someone’s day a little better, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

• Greet every guest with a friendly, professional, and genuine welcome
• Check guests in and out quickly and accurately, including billing and payment processing
• Answer phones, respond to guest questions, and manage reservations
• Resolve guest requests and concerns promptly, turning problems into positive experiences
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and inviting
• Share room availability, assignments, and guest preferences with housekeeping and operations
• Follow hotel safety, security, and service standards at all times

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred, but we’ll train the right attitude
• Clear, friendly communication skills, both spoken and written
• The ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
• Confidence and good judgment when handling guest concerns
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• A team-first mindset, plus the ability to work independently when needed
• A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
