Job Description\n Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Texas.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/06/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 48 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Registered Nurse (RN) - Med SurgUnit Information\n Location: Arlington, TX\n Unit: 3 Tower (622)\n Number of Beds: 30\n Staffing:\n \n Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4-5 RNs (if unit census supports), 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, and 1-3 Sitters\n Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4-5 RNs (if unit census full), 2 PCTs, and 1-3 Sitters (depending on patient population)\n \n \n Patient Ratios: 6:1\n Equipment: Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, bladder scanners\n EMR System: Meditech\n Floating Requirement: Based on hospital needsKey Responsibilities\n \n Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.\n Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.\n Assist with post-surgical care, including patients recovering from procedures such as cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement.\n Monitor and manage pain for patients, including those undergoing CIWA protocols.\n Qualifications\n \n Required:\n \n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n Experience as a Med Surg or acute care RN\n \n Preferred:\n \n Additional Med Surg or acute care experience\n Previous experience in HCA settings\n \n Preferred Candidate Attributes\n \n Dynamic and outgoing personality\n Ability to thrive in a high-energy environment\n Additional Information\n Join a team that is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and benefits from modern equipment and technology.
