Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to support our Activities Department in providing engaging, meaningful programs for our residents. This role plays a vital part in enhancing quality of life by promoting socialization, emotional well-being, and daily engagement in a warm, resident-centered environment. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, creative, and passionate about working with seniors in a long-term care setting.

Activities Aide Responsibilities:

• Facilitate group activities

• Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance

• Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized

• Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities

• Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties

Activities Aide Qualifications:

• Diploma or GED

• Creativity

• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia and special needs is a plus.

• Ability to self-motivate

• Flexible schedule, occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays are required.
