HR Generalist

Recruiting Posts and manages open positions. Manages the orientation, interview and screening process. Conducts orientations both on and off‑site. Travels for recruitment events off‑site. Screens applicants. Performs a variety of tasks in the hiring process including reference checks, background checks and drug testing. Helps maintain employment records and employee database. Vessel and Personnel Logistics Communicates with vessels and crews to ensure rotations and proper staffing levels onboard the vessels. Assists in crew travel arrangements including flights, accommodations and food. Reviews and approves crew travel expenses. Safety & Training Helps organize current safety plans, policies and procedures. Helps maintain an annual training schedule (Company, USCG, OSHA and State) for vessel crews, assists in the arrangement and documentation of training. Assists in insurance issues. Must Haves Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills. Self‑Motivated Takes ownership of responsibilities Flexibility and teamwork in a fast paced environment. MS Word, Excel required.
