Family Medicine Physician Opportunity

Endeavor Health is seeking a board certified or eligible family medicine physician in the western suburbs of Chicago, in our Yorkville location to join the team. Qualifications:

• Experienced doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathic medicine with current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois
• Board certified or eligible
• Active DEA and Illinois controlled substance license
• The interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients, families, medical personnel, and other members of the health care team in a compassionate and customer-oriented manner
• Current knowledge of evidence-based standards of medical care for specialty area
• The ability to perform effectively and efficiently under the pressure of stressful emergency situations
• Ability to prioritize patient care to support efficient patient flow in in EEH facilities or EEH medical group offices
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and to assist in covering vacancies when necessary

• 2-year salary guarantee from $222,000- $356,000. As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance.

What you will need:

• License: Illinois medical license or license pending
• Certification: The successful candidate for this position will have completed a family medicine residency and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine.

What you will do:

• Development of clinical practice
• A minimum of 34 bookable hours per week and 20 extended hours per month, which are a subset of the 34 bookable hours, to include morning/evening/weekend hours
• Participation in weekend and weekday call
• Teaching of the house staff and medical students as assigned
