CNC Lead

Job Description We are seeking 1 qualified candidate available to work on the following days and times: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Lead to join our team. The CNC Lead will report directly to the CNC Department Manager and play a crucial role in programming, setting up machines and ensuring production of high-quality components that meet industry standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, CNC programming, leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding our quality standards. JOB DESCRIPTION Develop CNC programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications. Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, installing tooling, and calibrating settings. Operate CNC machines to execute machining operations with precision and efficiency. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and productivity. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to keep them in optimal working condition. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and resolve any issues that arise. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Stay current in technological advancements and embrace growth opportunities. Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models. Inputting the product design into computer modeling software. Must have knowledge of Mastercam/SolidWorks. Ability to lift heavy objects. Ability to work after-hours when required. JOB REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam) for programming CNC machines. Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, and drilling. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and standards. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or related field. Must have 3+ years of machining experience. Must have 5+ years of programming experience. Extensive experience with computer modeling software.
