UTILITIES MASTER MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities Responsible supervisory and technical work in directing the activities of master level trades personnel in one or more of the following trades: Electrical, Welding, Machinist, Control Instrumentation and/or Diesel Mechanics at various utility installations throughout the city; and related work as required. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalency Diploma.* A valid Driver's License.* Either: Six (6) years of journeyman trade experience in Electrical, Machinist, Welder or Diesel Mechanic, one (1) year of which must have been supervisory. Two (2) years of experience as a Utilities Master Maintenance Specialist II with the Sewerage & Water Board. Four (4) years of experience as a Utilities Master Maintenance Specialist I with the Sewerage & Water Board. Other Requirements Prior to appointment, the hiring agency is required to verify education and valid driver's license claimed by the applicant. Applicants must provide original documents of their qualifying credentials to the hiring agency prior to their start date. Domicile Waiver Domicile requirements are currently waived for the purpose of application. Employees hired under this waiver remain exempt from the city's residency requirement for the duration of their employment at the Sewerage and Water Board.
