About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant, multidisciplinary team. You would spend 3-4 days at our Monroe location and the rest of the days at our Charlotte, NC location.

In this role, you will provide evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative services for children with physical, developmental, sensory, or behavioral needs. General Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients within a multidisciplinary clinical setting
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for children with physical, developmental, sensory, or behavioral needs
• Develop home programs and provide parent education and coaching
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, ABA providers, Psychologists, and parents/caregivers
• Evaluate and assess clients' needs and abilities on an ongoing basis and revise treatment plans accordingly
• Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve each child's quality of life and functional independence
• Instruct clients and families in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques as needed
• Provide education and support to families and caregivers on how to reinforce progress at home
• Supervise and mentor COTAs as applicable, in accordance with NC licensure requirements
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation of services and client progress

Minimum Qualifications

• Active NC Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) required
• AOTA certification required
• At least 2 years of pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, neurodevelopmental differences, or developmental delays preferred
• Early Childhood Intervention experience is a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and family-partnership skills
• Spanish fluency is a plus
• Passion for interdisciplinary care and mission-driven pediatric work

• Valid North Carolina driver’s license
• Successful completion of NC/national background checks
• Successful completion of reference checks
