This position provides financial and investment planning and advice within the Wealth Sales & Service group, collaborating with team members to deliver comprehensive banking solutions that serve the best interests of customers. Responsibilities Provide solutions by selling managed products and services such as mutual funds, ETF wrap accounts, insurance, annuities, and retirement savings plans. Generate referrals to business partners and identify opportunities during customer conversations to promote personal and commercial banking products. Support the achievement of sales and performance targets for new asset sales, joint appointments, fee‑based sales, and financial planning. Implement business development strategies, including outbound calling campaigns, seminars, and cultivation of branch employee referrals. Collaborate with a lead relationship manager to implement a relationship management plan. Develop and recommend solutions based on an understanding of business strategy and stakeholder needs, and provide advising and guidance to the assigned business/group. Support the execution of strategic initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, determining priorities and sequencing of execution. Conduct independent analysis, assessment, and problem solving to address strategic issues, track metrics and milestones, and report findings. Manage databases and provide analysis, forecasting, and data visualization, ensuring adherence to data governance standards. Design and produce regular and ad‑hoc reports and dashboards to monitor performance. Build change‑management plans, conduct readiness assessments, stakeholder management, and evaluation of initiatives. Lead communication planning, develop tailored messaging, and identify appropriate distribution channels. Provide input into the planning and implementation of operational programs and execute work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service. Identify business needs, develop tools and training programs, and deliver training to audiences. Employ custom exception and tracking reports to manage information, integrating data from multiple sources to streamline processes and reporting. Support the promotion of business/group programs and collaborate with client relationship team members to apply a consultative sales process. Introduce clients to investment strategies, develop financial plans, and collaborate with the lead relationship manager to manage the relationship. Communicate effectively with sales management and the sales force regarding product developments and initiatives. Coach and advise team members through joint appointments and sharing of product knowledge. Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment. Follow risk and compliance processes and policies, safeguarding customer assets, maintaining privacy, and acting in the best interests of clients. Protect the Bank’s assets, comply with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements, and recommend enhancements to the client experience. Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules, working independently on complex tasks. Take measured risks while applying the Risk Management Framework to protect assets and align decisions with business strategy. Qualifications Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. FINRA Series 6, 63 & 65 licenses OR FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses. Life and Health Insurance Producer’s License. Completed LTC Continuing Education Requirements. Strong working knowledge of the financial industry, in‑depth experience with managed products and fee‑based advice, and an in‑depth understanding of deposit and loan (including mortgage) products and banking services. Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience. In‑depth verbal and written communication skills. In‑depth collaboration and team‑working skills. In‑depth analytical and problem‑solving skills. In‑depth influence skills. In‑depth data‑driven decision‑making skills. Salary & Compensation Salary range: $69,000.00 – $127,800.00 (Salaried & Commission). Compensation may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. The listed salary represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year and may include performance‑based incentives, bonuses, and other perks.
