Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Orlando, our outpatient clinic features modern facilities equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while providing essential therapy services to our patients. This is an onsite position that encourages direct interaction and teamwork among staff members.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations and assessments, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and functional limitations.

• Ensure compliance with state practice acts and maintain a thorough understanding of the regulations governing physical therapy practice.

• Conduct regular evaluations, including the analysis of patient history, relevant assessments, and documentation of recommendations and results, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, actively modifying plans as needed to align with patient progress and the evolving healthcare landscape.

• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations with healthcare professionals when necessary, documenting changes in patient conditions that may require alterations in their course of care.

• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care meticulously, ensuring that documentation of patient interactions includes detailed notes on treatment effectiveness and next steps.

• Complete mandatory corporate and clinical training, while continuously maintaining compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations relevant to physical therapy practices.

• Adhere to a daily schedule that maximizes patient care quality and departmental efficiency, while treating patients whose therapy needs are medically justified.

• Actively participate in team meetings, in-services, and training sessions to enhance collective knowledge and address any barriers to patient access and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.

• Valid Florida state license to practice physical therapy is essential.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience providing physical therapy services.

• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills to foster rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in personal training or wellness programs, especially those integrating technology or digital applications.

• Proven ability to engage and motivate patients through tailored treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
