Driver

Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly part time and options for on call Driver to join our team and assist in providing excellent transportation services to our senior residents. As a Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled activities. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents while fostering a warm, and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to transportation, you will assist with setting up for activities, ensuring our residents enjoy a full range of experiences. Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other scheduled events. Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use at all times. Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, destinations, and any special needs. Assist with setting up and preparing for resident activities and events. Communicate with team members to coordinate transportation needs and schedule adjustments. Follow all safety and traffic regulations to ensure a smooth and secure journey. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff, providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Clean driving record. Ability to take / qualify for CDL is a plus A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., passenger vans or buses) is preferrd but not required. Previous experience working with seniors is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient demeanor. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with seniors. Ability to lift and assist residents as needed, with the support of other team members.
