Overview Position summary and what youll do: Provides comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and administering other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations. Responsibilities Drive sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, sales development, and maintaining cross-functional relationships. Model, enforce, and provide direction on customer service approaches to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines and standards. Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to participate as good members of the community. Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and applicable legal regulations; analyze reports, implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls; oversee safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews; develop and implement action plans; provide direction on executing company programs and strategic initiatives. Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing performance feedback, recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging. Maintain confidentiality of information and records as required by Company policies and state/federal guidelines. Manage Pharmacy Operations, conduct Associate meetings, and share information related to new initiatives. Ensure pharmacy operations align with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOP, QA) and proper policies for advising on and dispensing products and Customer insurance and licensure issues. Document changes in pharmaceutical products and procedures, new ideas, approaches, and processes; share information with Associates and Managers. Oversee Inventory Flow: monitor and manage merchandise ordering and inventory flow processes; identify and address inventory-related problems. Manage Finances: interpret and analyze financial data, manage budgets, and report assets, liabilities, revenues, and operating expenses; ensure compliance with financial policies. Quality and Patient Care: create a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; set expectations for quality and patient safety; ensure counseling and information provision complies with new therapies and regulations; document and improve processes to reduce risk. Compliance Focused Execution: communicate and guide compliance initiatives; ensure billing procedures and HIPAA adherence; use audits to identify issues and drive improvements. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor2; s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, FPGEC (NABP); Pharmacy license by job entry date; completion of ACPE-accredited immunization training program. Preferred Qualifications U.S. pharmacy-related experience. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary range for this position is $112,000.00 - $197,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may include regional pay zones and complex structure; other listed benefits follow.
