Serve as the primary technical link between suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve non-conformances and champion long-term corrective actions. Execute detailed supplier audits to verify quality management systems, manufacturing capability, and total production capacity against technical specifications. Direct the First Article Inspection (FAI) process by establishing planning requirements and determining the necessity for full or partial (delta) FAI assessments. Identify potential risks in the manufacturing process early, including evaluating tooling and gauging before production. Validate that initial production runs meet all engineering drawings, specifications, and functional requirements through rigorous material and process testing. Knowledge / Education Exhibits commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations. Participates in a cross‑functional team to develop new products, sustain current products, detect problems, implement solutions, assist operations, and provide aftermarket support. Skills and Abilities Efficient in problem‑solving methodologies to address root cause. Good written, verbal communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Demonstrates ability to work professionally and collaboratively with others within the organization. Ability to work well under pressure.
